Cheesy Nights is an end-of-semester event hosted by University Libraries where volunteers feed students to help them succeed during finals week. Starting in 2011, the event has grown into a Virginia Tech staple that attracts special guests such as President Tim Sands, Softball Coach Pete D'Amour, and former head football coach Frank Beamer. Nearly 6,000 grilled cheese sandwiches were served during Cheesy Nights in the fall of 2022.
