Richard Hanowski and Carl Cospel from the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute are joining forces to create the Motorcycle Collision-Alert and Management System with the goal of helping to reduce motorcycle related crashes in low and middle-income countries. The technology, meant to be low cost and targeted for low-capacity bikes, is focusing on companies that use motorcycle fleets for the delivery services.
