Governor Ralph Northam visited Virginia Tech's campus, accompanied by Del. Christ Hurst and Sen. John Edwards. The governor announced on the War Memorial Pylons a proposal of $111 million in financial aid for low to moderate income undergraduate students across Virginia. $100 million of that proposal will be directed to public institutions.
