[00:00:00] >> My name is Rhonda Welch and I got my bachelor's and master's degree here at Virginia Tech in geology. What really impressed me was the kind of people that geology are and I had that moment, or geologists are, and I had that moment of like, "these are my people, these are the people that I want to hang out with, these are the people that I want to learn with and grow professionally with" and that actually is the favorite, my favorite part of my job is that to this day I get to interact with geologists on a daily basis. [00:00:34] I get to go in, I get to work with a group of really super smart people working on complex problems trying to solve them and apply them to real issues that are going on the world today.
