This course exposes first-year students to how business works in a free market economy by developing a foundational knowledge of various business functions and of current events occurring in today’s business world. The course incorporates a micro-business project that maps to problem solving, inquiry and integration skills in addition to being a hands-on learning experience about the key functions of a business.
