Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering) and Professor Michael Madigan (Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering) have teamed to combine their respective expertise in smart materials and biomechanics. They are working to develop new prosthesis technology that provides a higher level of comfort and mobility for the wearer.
