About her: Kelling has been a research assistant specializing in statistics and data analysis since her freshman year. She participated in a research experience in industrial mathematics and statistics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts in summer 2014 and an internship at Procter & Gamble in summer 2015. She also researches gender-based violence on college campuses and presented on the topic at about a dozen conferences, including the International Women’s Issues Conference. She has coordinated Take Back the Night for four years and is president of Womanspace+.
Activities: Special Olympics volleyball and basketball coach, fifth- through eighth-grade volleyball coach, Hillcrest Hall and Honors Residential College Councils, Barbershop Quartet, and Women’s Choir
