2025 Spring Graduate Commencement
Family, friends, and faculty gathered in Cassell Coliseum to celebrate Ph.D. graduates and those graduates in master's in interdisciplinary graduate education programs during the Spring 2025 Graduate Commencement ceremony.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our Spring 2025 Graduate Commencement exercises in this 154th year of our university. As Hokies, you will carry forward the spirit of Ut Prosim into the next phase of your lives. You have the opportunity, and I even say, the responsibility to use your skills and talents to positively impact our society, both locally and globally. A graduate degree is both an incredible and impossible achievement that only a tiny fraction of individuals realize. All of the hard work you put in matters. It means something. As you leave Virginia Tech and step into the world, know that you are well equipped to tackle whatever challenges that come your way. Stay true to your values and never stop striving for excellence. Congratulations once again, and may your futures be filled with boundless opportunities and remarkable achievements. Go forth and create a brighter tomorrow for us all.
