A newborn donkey foal has a second chance at life, thanks to the students, faculty and staff at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. The foal's owner found it stuck in a fence, not long after its birth, and brought it to VMCVM for intensive care. Five or six days into her recovery, the foal was granted the name Hokie.
