Students, faculty, and staff celebrated the opening and very first classes in Academic Building One at the Innovation Campus in Alexandria.

This is an incredible moment for this campus because for the first time we're inviting all of our students onto the campus. So now the faculty, the staff, and the students are all here. Classes are underway, and we are for the first time, bringing the entire full force of the Innovation Campus together. Oh, it's amazing. It feels really good to come to classes here. All of the technology that's available in the classes, it's really fun to just come in and interact with everything else. It's been incredible to see how excited the students are. So it's beautiful. I've already told a lot of my friends back home that we have this cool building. Makes you want to come to the campus and come to the classes, because it's such, like, the design is such a unique design. It creates a really good studying environment. I think that's the thing that I like the most. Let's go, Hokies!
