For almost 30 years, the Fralin Life Sciences Institute at Virginia Tech has supported education in Virginia schools through the Biotech in a Box Outreach Program. High school teachers from across Virginia participated in a workshop to learn how to use the STEM projects within the kits before committing to conduct the labs with their students this coming school year.
