The keynote celebration kicked off on the Drillfield at Virginia Tech. President Tim Sands and Vice Provost for Inclusion and Diversity Menah Pratt-Clarke gave opening statements. The program featured Chief Kenneth Branham of the Monacan Nation, and Dr. Henrietta Mann of the Southern Cheyenne Nation.
