The COVID-19 pandemic limited lab capacities and made gathering as a design team a big challenge. DBF or Design, Build, Fly made modifications to their process in order to still meet their goals as a team.

Obviously, COVID has been a really tough challenge for us to overcome. For this year. We've definitely tried our best to adapt to online meetings and online events and things like that. You get so much a real life experience out of this and a lot of technical skills that you don't really get in the classroom. It's been a bit difficult. I'll say that for sure. Right now it's obviously not that easy considering only five people are allowed in our space. So it's been a difficult learning experience, but certainly a wonderful experience for me because I know going into industry, It's a valuable skill for me to carry on.
