Rooted in the belief that movement should be accessible to all, this weeklong initiative invited Hokies from every corner of campus to explore new ways to stay active, connect with others, and take care of their well-being. Whether it was trying out a dance class for the first time, picking up a dodgeball, or scaling the bouldering wall, participants were encouraged to step outside their routine and rediscover the power of movement in everyday life. More than just fitness, Hokie Movement Week sparked curiosity, created connections, and reminded us that being active doesn’t have to look one way. Because when movement is for everyone, it becomes something more; it becomes a community.
