The 13th annual Docs for Morgan basketball game between VTCSOM students and Carilion Clinic doctors brought out another great crowd this year. After a lot of back and forth action, the docs came out on top after their defeat last year.
Tonight was our 13th Tox for Morgan, and it's wonderful for the Harrington family to see the support. It's wonderful for us to know that we're supporting our medical school, and it's wonderful for the students to see how they are supported in this community that they've come to to have their education. Even though, you know, we're here to raise money for the scholarship, I really see that as secondary. I see it more as a camaraderie between the school, the hospital, and the community. Thank you all so much. You have loved our family in a steadfast way for 15 years. And you have helped us find wholeness and joy again. And we are so grateful to all of you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for coming out for making this event as great as it is for helping out the scholarship. I'm personally extremely grateful. We as a community here are extremely grateful to you. It's always fun to win. We appreciate the cause, no matter what. But you can't deny that it's always fun to win the game. Tough loss. We played hard. This one hurts a little bit. We'll come back biting next year. This was such a fun evening, and I always like to remind everyone, though, that no matter what that scoreboard says, there are only winners at this game.
