The Virginia Tech Center for Humanities celebrated the inaugural class of 2024 Institute for Leadership in Technology fellows with a ceremony in Arlington April 25. After seven months of rigorous coursework, the cohort earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Virginia Tech.
Today, as you embark from the Virginia Tech Institute for Leadership in Technology and as newly empowered evangelists of the humanities. I encourage you to anchor and recover an original meaning and message of the humanities. What makes a good life? By centering yourselves here in this question in both your personal and your professional lives, you will, in this culture, not only have participated in a kind of revelation, but a revolution. One our culture sorely needs. Leadership, yes, but goodness, too. And so with that, I want to congratulate you again, friends, and fellows and remind you you will always have a home, at Virginia Tech.
