Hey, I'm Noah Stalard. I'm with the Department of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Today I'm volunteering with Mika's backpack. Let's go every week at Micah's backpack, we pack over 280 care packages of food for children to eat over the weekend who are experiencing food insecurity. In class, we talk a lot about the burden of food insecurity, which can be really overwhelming through Micah's backpack. I know that I am making an impact on the lives of others in my community. One of the main reasons I volunteer is because I firmly believe no child should go. I demonstrate Uppsm through my volunteer work at Mika's backpack. It is important to me to serve a community that provides so much for us.
