The Virginia Tech COVID Crushers and the Student Nutrition and Dietetic Association at Virginia Tech organized a drive to collect food for people and pets for the New River Valley Agency on Aging and Interfaith Food Pantry.
This semester, the credit pressures and the Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association at Virginia Tech partnered first-year drive. The donations from this page, I will be going to the New River Valley Agency on Aging and the interface food pantry. After the outpouring of so many donations from our food drive last fall, we want to keep up the momentum. Never Valley Agency on Aging. They will take this to the older adult population in the interface Food Pantry during COVID, you just need to show proof of residence. So people who need food can go there and they're able to pick up food once a month. We have three donation boxes. We actually get a lot of food in the boxes, which are so great. I feel your class, identity and inclusion and agriculture. And it taught me a lot about food insecurity. A lot of our peers are actually food insecure and we oftentimes just don't know about it. I think it's so important that people have access to nutritious foods.
