Virginia Tech celebrates the late Nikki Giovanni through an immersive exhibit at the Center for the Arts. The exhibit uses video projection of graphics and photos with an original music score to highlight six of Giovanni's poems read by Giovanni herself. This exhibit will move to the Torpedo Factory Art Center in 2026. Poetry and Readings: Nikki Giovanni Poetic Arrangement: Brittney S. Pamplin College of Business students raised over $28,000 for charity as part of their Foundations of Business course. This course exposes first-year students to how business works in a free market economy by developing a foundational knowledge of various business functions and of current events occurring in today’s business world. The course incorporates a micro-business project that maps to problem solving, inquiry and integration skills in addition to being a hands-on learning experience about the key functions of a business.
