[00:00:00] >> Hi Hokies whether you're watching this from Blacksburg or anywhere else that you call home this is my friendly reminder for all of us to do our part in helping prevent the spread of Covid-19 the best way that you can do this is by staying at home and practicing social distancing this will ensure the health of you your friends your family and your entire community I know that it might seem harmless to go out and see your friends but the reality of the situation is that it's putting everybody else at risk if you need some help avoiding that isolation loneliness doing Zoom Hangouts or Face-Timing with your friends and family it's a great way to stay connected without having to be face to face you can even be creative with it you can go to a virtual dance party make a meal together watch a movie or anything else that you can think of if you are in need of some daily inspiration Hokie Wellness is launching a new virtual campaign called Hokie Wellness at Home that's going to feature plenty of advice from our Peer Health Educators on how to best take care of your financial mental and social well being during this time so be sure to check us out at our website or follow us on social media even though we have to be apart right now we are in this together so stay healthy stay and stay connected.
