As part of a tour to medical schools across the Commonwealth of Virginia through Grand Round lectures, Gov. Ralph Northam visited the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine to talk about the opioid crisis. He brought Ryan Hall, a Covington resident who struggled with opioid addiction to discuss how he became addicted and later overcame it. Northam gave advice to students on how to be part of the solution once they are practicing medicine.
