    W_internships offer students two-weeks of professional work experience , video

    The School of Architecture’s W_internship program offers third-year undergraduates and second-year M.Arch. candidates the chance to complete a two-week internship in January before the start of the spring semester. The experience is short-term but intense, providing students with the chance to participate in the daily work life of a firm, cultivating skills and knowledge while experiencing the culture. Employers also benefit from giving a potential employee a trial run.

    Students explore unique career pathways through unexpected connections , video

    Every semester, students from the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design come together as a “collective studio” to produce a print design journal. The publication displays student work, shares alumni experiences, and highlights current interests within the design community and the students’ own studios. This fall, students chose to focus the publication on one question: “What else can I do with my degree?” and interviewed alumni with architecture degrees who followed unique career paths. Seeing all of the different avenues these alumni have been able to take and what they have achieved opens new possibilities for students in architecture and beyond.
