There are four strategies that can be very useful for managing time more effectively:

  • Create a semester schedule
  • Assess and plan your workload eac hweek
  • Adjust your plan each day
  • Evaluate your schedule

Strategies if your schedule is not working as efficiently or effectively as you would like

  • Identify your most productive time of day
  • Study difficult or boring subjects first
  • Study in the same place every time
  • Treat school like a full-time job
  • Avoid distractions
  • Use waiting time
  • Use the library
