College Fair March 24 assembles reps from two dozen institutions of higher learning
Virginia Tech’s Upward Bound/Talent Search programs are inviting high school students and their parents to campus March 24. About two dozen colleges, universities and community colleges from around the region will have representatives on hand to answer questions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Graduate Life Center. The center is at the corner of Otey Street and College Avenue.
"This is a sort of one-stop-shopping event for high school students and their parents to find out quickly about many different colleges and universities," said Tom Wilson, director of Upward Bound and Talent Search at Virginia Tech. "We hope they will take advantage of the college personnel on hand to help them learn more about a potential college experience."
