The VT Therapy Dogs came out to the Drillfield to honor National Therapy Animal Day. The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors recently adopted a resolution recognizing the initiative in Montgomery County.

We had a great time today welcoming all the students for National Therapy Animal Day. Today and every day, these dogs on campus and dogs throughout all of our lives provide so much support and comfort. And it's really nice to have a day just to honor what they do and to give them that special attention. The dogs do provide this unconditional love for our entire student body and community, and they don't ask anything in return except to be loved back. And so I love them, and I'm glad we can celebrate together.
