More than 100 cancer researchers from across Virginia Tech met at the first Cancer Research Alliance retreat hosted by the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC on March 18.
We're bringing together experts in this unique environment here at Virginia Tech, we have people working on human cancer and animal cancer, including in our pets and dogs and cats. That convergence creates a power unrivaled anyplace else so that the energy in the air today is palpable and it's an exciting time for Cancer Research here at Virginia Tech, I feel like the collaboration is really what actually helps safe, to help promote quality of life and well-being a picture for the scientific aspect, avid they intellectual spark is just fantastic. And what an honor to be in such a room of people that have so many amazing finding, so many amazing skill sets that we can all bring to the table. Benefit is bringing scientists and students together to actually towards your waist forward to beat cancer.
