A week in Havana transforms Virginia Tech students
Thirteen students traveled to Cuba for a week as part of a semester-long, 3-credit course, “Study Abroad to Cuba: Food Sovereignty, Culture, & Resilience.” On May 3, each student will share details about the trip during an upcoming symposium from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Squires Student Center, Brush Mountain room. Admission is free, and the public is invited to enjoy oral presentations, posters, and a reception to follow.
