Nov. 14 town-gown meeting discusses safety and security

The 2024-25 town-gown meetings invite all members of the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg communities to learn more about issues that impact them collectively. 

Thursday, Nov. 14, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Creativity and Innovation District Multipurpose Library, the town-gown topic will be Safety and Security: A Conversation about Policing.

Join us for a conversation with the chiefs of police from Blacksburg and Virginia Tech to learn more about their partnership to support a healthy and safe community on campus and in Blacksburg.  

Presenters will be Mac Babb, chief of police, Virginia Tech and Todd Brewster, chief of police, Town of Blacksburg.
