Student Affairs invites you to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our university community at our next Aspire! Awards breakfast celebration on Dec. 6 from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Inn at Virginia Tech. This event will honor five student winners and one staff member who have exemplified Student Affairs' five Aspirations for Student Learning.
The December Aspire! Award winners are:
- Commit to Unwavering Curiosity: Savaria Parrish in the College of Science, majoring in geosciences and minoring in astronomy
- Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity: Ibrahim Tahmid in the College of Engineering, majoring in computer science and minoring in human-computer interaction
- Practice Civility: Ainsley Cragin in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, majoring in multimedia journalism and minoring in international relations
- Prepare for a Courageous Life of Leadership: Kody Ho in the Pamplin College of Business, majoring in marketing management and minoring in professional sales
- Embrace Ut Prosim as a Way of Life: Mattison Homard in the College of Science, majoring in cognitive and behavior neuroscience and minoring in psychology & adaptive brain and behavior
- Faculty & Staff Award for Pursue Self-Understanding and Integrity: Alexa Fraley Gardner, advanced instructor & curriculum coordinator at the Child Development Center for Learning and Research
