Students can receive free rush tickets

Virginia Tech students can receive free, last-minute rush tickets to Center for the Arts performances by signing up for text notifications. To sign up, text “arts” to 833-966-1838.

The center brings renowned artists from around the world to Blacksburg and offers something for everyone – from legendary performers and spectacular orchestras to unforgettable dance, cirque, and theatre works.

Free rush seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and availability varies by performance. To receive a rush ticket, students must bring their valid Virginia Tech ID to the box office at the time indicated in the text.

For those not interested in rush seats, student tickets for Center for the Arts performances are always only $10. This offer is available for any college or university student with a school ID, as well as youth ages 18 and under. For Broadway productions, a limited number of $10 tickets are available to Virginia Tech students.
