Pedestrian impacts: Steam tunnel improvements to occur near Old Turner Street

To accommodate improvements to the steam tunnel system on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus, a portion of the sidewalk in front of the Old Security Building (facing Upper Quad Hall North), will be temporarily closed from approximately Monday, May 19 - Monday, July 28. 

During this time, pedestrians are encouraged to use alternative routes along the adjacent sidewalk, directly in front of Upper Quad Hall North. 

Pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution and follow posted directional signage. Pedestrians may also use the Interactive Campus Map to assist with navigation.
