Transportation impacts: VDOT paving and crosswalk upgrade on West Campus Drive

To accommodate road paving and crosswalk upgrades, West Campus Drive, from Prices Fork Road to Perry Street, will be temporarily closed from approximately Sunday, June 8, at 7 p.m. through Monday, June 16, at 6 a.m., weather permitting.  

During this time, drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes such as Stanger Street, Duck Pond Drive, Washington Street, and Drillfield Drive. 

Following the completion of work, West Campus Drive will reopen and traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Drivers should expect traffic delays on West Campus Drive Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20. 

Directional signage will be posted to assist with navigation. Drivers may also use the Interactive Campus Map to assist with navigation.
