The School of Performing Arts presents a concert dedicated to the memory of Daniel Foster.

Daniel Foster (1943-2018) was a national award-winning luthier whose instruments are played by amateurs and professionals throughout the United States.

The concert is dedicated to the memory of Foster, and will highlight his sextet of violins, violas and cellos donated to the Music Department. The program will include J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concert #3, Popper’s Requiem for 3 Cellos and Brahms, Sextet in B Flat Major. Members of the chamber music class of John Irerra and Alan Weinstein will perform, assisted by Richard Masters, piano. Find out more here.
