Get ready to move, connect, and celebrate — Hokie Movement Week is happening March 27 to April 3! Whether you're looking to play, learn, or just have fun, we’ve got free activities and events for everyone — no experience needed to join in! Just bring your Hokie Passport to check in at each activity or event.

  • Dodgeball Meetup & Play | 4–6 p.m. | War Memorial Hall
    Jump in for casual dodgeball games — no team needed! Sign up here.

Friday, March 28

  • Horseback Riding Lessons | 12–3 p.m. | Equitation Barn - 472 Plantation Road
    No prior riding experience needed — try something new! Sign up here.
  • Hokie Swim Lessons | 1–2:30 p.m. | McComas Hall Pool
    Learn the basics or improve your swim skills with instructors. Sign up here.

Saturday, March 29

  • Chipping & Putting Golf Clinic | 9 a.m.–12 p.m. | VT Golf Course

  • Bouldering Wall Day | All Day | Venture Out Center
    Challenge yourself on the bouldering wall — gear provided! Sign up here starting March 26.

Free select group exercise classes all week — no pass or membership needed!

We’re offering free, select group exercise classes during Hokie Movement Week — no Rec Sports membership or Group Exercise pass required.

  • Students: Join any of the select classes (except Faculty/Staff classes).
  • Faculty, Staff, & Non-student Wage Employees: Join any select classes — no membership or Group Exercise pass needed!

All you need is your Hokie Passport to check in at the front desk and class.

Classes include Cardio Dance, BodyPump, Total Body Strength, and TREDZ!
