From: The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology

The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology invites you to attend "Carving Out Creativity," an exhibition exploring the intersection of art, science, and technology, and showcasing the collaborative efforts of artists, technologists, and researchers.

It blurs the boundaries between creator and observer, as well as between here and there, transforming art into a shared and evolving experience rooted in neuroscience. By leveraging advanced technology, this exhibit seamlessly connects visuals, sound, and touch across distances, offering visitors with an immersive and interactive experience.

The event will be held in four locations: Blacksburg; Washington, D.C.; Alexandria; and Roanoke. Each location offers a unique opportunity to engage with the installation and experience live demonstrations.

Dates and details:

  • Feb. 28 – March 18: Exhibition open to the public at all locations.
  • Feb. 28: Live demonstration at all locations, 6 - 8 p.m. (Innovation Campus by invitation only; all other locations open to the public).
  • Installation will remain open to the public until May 18.
