Accessible route impacts: Construction on pathway from G. Burke Johnston Student Center to the Drillfield

Dec. 21-26
To accommodate the construction of an ADA-compliant pathway from the G. Burke Johnston Student Center to the Drillfield, the eastern sidewalk and entrance to Pamplin Hall in between Pamplin and Burruss Halls will be temporarily closed from Saturday, Dec. 21, until Thursday, Dec. 26.
During this time, an accessible entrance to Pamplin Hall is available on the western side of the building near Robeson Hall. An accessible interior route connecting Pamplin and Burruss halls is available through the interior of Pamplin Hall.
Dec. 27 - Jan. 3
Beginning Friday, Dec. 27, the eastern sidewalk and entrance of Pamplin Hall will be open. The eastern entrance of Derring Hall near the exterior elevator outside of the G. Burke Johnston Student Center will be temporarily closed from Friday, Dec. 27, to Friday, Jan. 3.
During this time, accessible entrances to Derring Hall are available in between Hitt and Derring halls and in between Derring Hall and the Pamplin Lot.
Jan. 6 - April 2025
Beginning Monday, Jan. 6, the eastern sidewalk and entrance of Pamplin Hall in between Pamplin and Burruss halls will be temporarily closed until April 2025.
During this time, an accessible entrance to Pamplin Hall is available on the western side of the building near Robeson Hall. An accessible interior route connecting Pamplin and Burruss Halls is available through the interior of Pamplin Hall.
