Accessible route impacts: Cowgill Hall sidewalk replacement

The exterior elevators at Johnston Student Center and Derring Hall

Accessible routes Dec. 23 - Jan. 6

To accommodate work on an ADA-compliant pathway on the north side of Cowgill Hall, the accessible route between the elevators at Derring Hall and Johnston Student Center and Whittemore and Hancock halls will be temporarily closed from Monday, Dec. 23, to Monday, Jan. 6. 

During this time, an accessible route is available in between Hancock and Cowgill Halls, through the interior of Cowgill Hall, and in between Cowgill and Derring Hall.

Accessible routes Jan. 6-10

Beginning Monday, Jan. 6, the ADA-compliant pathway between the elevators at Derring Hall and Johnston Student Center and Whittemore and Hancock Halls will be open to pedestrian traffic. 

During this time, the sidewalk in front of Cowgill Hall will remain temporarily closed.

Beginning Jan. 6, the path between the elevators at Derring Hall and Johnston Student Center and Whittemore and Hancock Halls will be open to pedestrian traffic.

Pedestrians may utilize the Interactive Campus Map to assist with navigation.
