Graduating this semester? Pledge to be a Green Graduate

Become a green graduate at Virginia Tech by pledging to foster a sustainable world.

The green graduates of Virginia Tech program offers graduating students the opportunity to take a personal sustainability pledge that encourages them to think about the environmental impact of their jobs, travel, and other adventures after graduation. 

To honor students who take the pledge, the Office of Sustainability awards all pledge signers with a free green cord to wear for graduation. 

Sign the pledge by Sunday, Dec. 1, to receive a free green cord.  

Fall 2024 graduates may pick up a green cord from Squires Student Center Info Booth A located on the first floor across from the coffee shop on the following dates:

• Dec. 4 from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
• Dec. 6 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
