ICAT Day celebration of science, engineering, arts, and design is April 29

ICAT DAY 2024 will be held on Monday, April 29. The Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Moss Arts Center. The reception will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Cube.

The concert: The Beat Goes On will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Creativity and Innovation District performance hall.

The 12th annual ICAT Creativity + Innovation Day is hosted by the Virginia Tech Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology to engage and connect the public to the latest creative and innovative works of students and faculty members. Over 25 different experiences showcasing transdisciplinary courses, ICAT grant-funded projects, and the work of the ICAT community will be on display for the public. Topics include combinations of artificial intelligence (AI), immersive environments, neuroscience, sculpture, dance, music, and game design. This space and time are provided to share across disciplines and build mutually beneficial relationships.

The event is free and open to the public.
