Bruguiere, who is pursuing a degree in environmental horticulture, hopes to work in the agriculture industry and eventually run his own greenhouse.

Tucker Bruguiere, a veteran, came to Virginia Tech after serving as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is now an undergraduate in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and doing controlled research on growing better indoor cultivars of peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce in the greenhouses on campus.

Thomas Rice Center for Leader Development and a 1990 graduate of the Corps of Cadets, spoke of honoring our armed service members. The program ended with the laying of the ceremonial wreath on War Memorial court by President Tim Sands and Major General Randal Fullhart.
