The program includes lectures, hands-on activities, and on-bike instruction with certified League Cycling Instructors. As a component of Virginia Tech's Sustainable Transportation Department, Hokie Bike Hub aligns with the universities Climate Action Commitment to reduce single-occupancy-vehicle commuting to campus by 20 percent by 2025 and reduce transportation-related GHG emissions by 40 percent by 2030.
