In addition to tuition assistance, she receives financial assistance with off-campus housing, groceries, study abroad, and material costs associated with her major. "Being able to just pour all of my energy into my work is really important to me and I think it has made all the difference," said Lederhouse. The Presidential Scholarship Initiative is expanding with enrollment reaching 718 students in 2025–26.
