Livestock industry to induct former faculty and alumni in Livestock Hall of Fame
A group of Virginia’s livestock associations will induct 10 industry leaders into the Virginia Livestock Hall of Fame at the Virginia Tech Alphin-Stuart Livestock Teaching Arena located on the Blacksburg campus.
The 2012 inductees will have their portraits hung in the arena during a ceremony to be held Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10:30 a.m. Family, friends, and the general public are invited to attend. The portrait gallery was recently relocated to the Alphin-Stuart Livestock Teaching Arena from the Meadow Pavilion at the State Fair of Virginia in Doswell, Va.
