He needs assistance, a ventilator, and other special equipment just to survive every day, but not even that, nor a three-hour ride from suburban Richmond, deters him and close friend Chet Willis ’80 from doing something that they’ve been doing off and on since 1989 — attend a Virginia Tech football game.
