Virginia Tech offers campus lodging for families and guests during spring commencement
Virginia Tech’s Conference and Guest Services is offering on-campus lodging and dining packages for families and guests of graduating students during the weekend of spring commencement May 11 through 13.
Advance reservations are required, and may be made online, by mail, or in person.
A lottery for limited air-conditioned and suite-style rooms will be held Wednesday, March 7, through Monday, March 19. Lottery participants will be notified of the results by Friday, March 23.
Regular reservations will be taken beginning Monday, March 26, and will continue through Monday, April 30, or until all available spaces are filled.
Staying on campus during graduation minimizes parking issues and provides families with convenient and low-cost accommodations. Rooms are available for two or three nights, and packages include a limited number of all-you-care-to-eat meals at Virginia Tech’s award-winning D2 dining center.
More information on pricing, amenities included in individual rooms, and handicap accessibility can be found at the commencement lodging website. Menus and schedules for the all-you-care-to-eat meals as well as pricing information for extra meals is available on the commencement dining website.
For more information, visit the Conferences and Guest Services website or contact Conference and Guest Services via email or by calling 540-231-5721.
