U.S. Air Force B-1B flyover hosted by the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets for Duke game
The 28th Bomb Wing from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., will conduct a military flyover with a B-1B Lancer heavy bomber during the National Anthem prior to the Virginia Tech versus Duke football game on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The flyover is expected barring weather or operational factors. Carrying the largest payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the U.S. Air Force inventory, the B-1B is the backbone of America’s long-range bomber force.
