Virginia Tech celebrates student achievement across 22 ceremonies

In commencement ceremonies held across Virginia Tech campuses, the Class of 2025 celebrated an important milestone as family, friends, and faculty looked on with joy and pride.
This year’s class includes 6,119 bachelor’s degree recipients, 1,950 graduate degree recipients, 121 who earned veterinary degrees, and 43 who earned medical degrees — each marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next.
“Graduation is not the end of our Virginia Tech story. As alumni, we have the opportunity and responsibility to stay connected, to give back, and to continue strengthening the Hokie community that has shaped us all,” said Class of 2025 officer Sydney Weeks, who spoke at the conclusion of the University Commencement ceremony.
“Being a Hokie is not just about where you studied. It’s about who you are, the values you carry, and the difference you are ready to make,” Weeks said.
