New members join Undergraduate Student Senate after fall elections
Voting for the Undergraduate Student Senate concluded on Sept. 29. Students elected to the senate are committed to representing the student voice on campus through servant leadership, meaningful advocacy, and the empowerment of the undergraduate student body.
The following students were elected:
- Vice president of finance: Henry Berger
- Vice president of shared governance: Aarav Parikh
- At-large senators: Tristan Reeves, Anusha Dhungana, Michael Green, Julie Thomas, Miranda Archibald, Emma Lawrence, Ram Bubby, and Jungwoo Choi
- College of Science senators: Kennedy Anderson, Gabriella Thompson, and Aryan Adhikari
- College of Engineering senators: Sophia Yoon and Daniel Cherkasskiy
- College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences senator: Lindsay Ricci
- College of Natural Resources and Environment senator: Ethan Chang
- Pamplin College of Business senators: Michael Green and Mason Peters
- Residential senator for District 3: Jordan Kim
- Residential senator for District 4: Claire Turner
- Residential senator for Living Learning Programs 1: Adam Shobaki
All candidates, including write-in candidates, were confirmed and took their oaths of office Oct. 1 during the Undergraduate Student Senate meeting.
