Hokies encouraged to enjoy Labor Stay Weekend
Hokies are encouraged to explore campus and Blacksburg during Labor Stay Weekend from Sept. 1 – 5. Student Engagement and Campus Life has created a list with multiple events and activities geared towards cultivating friendships and familiarity with the community.
Events include:
Sept. 1
Watch Party Kit Pickup – 1-5 p.m. – Squires Student Center and McComas Hall
Sept. 2
Gobblerfest – 4 – 7 p.m. on the Drillfield
Football Watch Parties – 7-10 p.m. with locations TBD. More information will be available via ExperienceVT Student Leaders.
Sept 3.
Bagels with Buds – 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Blacksburg Farmers Market
Breakzone Freeplay – 1 to 10 p.m.
“Shrek” – 9 -11 p.m. at The Lyric Theatre
Sept. 4
Hahn Horticulture Garden Self-Guided Tour – Anytime
Blacksburg Axe Takeover (Round 1) – 5- 7 p.m.
Blacksburg Axe Takeover (Round 2) – 8 – 10 p.m.
Sept. 5
Hokie Bucket List Day – All day.
Breakzone Freeplay – 1-10 p.m.
Battleship Competition – 12:30 p.m. – McComas Gym
Pizza Study Night – 5 – 7 p.m. VT Engage House
