The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will hold its quarterly board meeting on Tuesday, June 2, at 1:15 p.m.

In addition to this meeting, all committee meetings listed below will be held entirely online; information for the public to listen to the meetings may be found on the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors website.

On Wednesday, May 6, the Executive Committee will meet at 1 p.m. beginning with a brief closed session followed by an open session.

On Wednesday, May 13, a selection committee for 2020-21 student representatives will conduct interviews in closed session beginning at 2:55 p.m. Student representatives selected will be announced at the June 2 full board meeting.

In addition, the following committee meetings will be held prior to the June 2 full board meeting:

  • On Monday, June 1, the Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Committee will meet in closed session at 1:30 p.m, which will be followed immediately by an open session.
  • On Thursday, May 14, the Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet in open session at 3 p.m.
  • The Compliance, Audit, and Risk Committee will meet on Thursday, May 21, at 3 p.m. beginning with closed session, which will be followed immediately by an open session.
  • The Finance and Resource Management Committee will meet on Thursday, May 7, at 4 p.m. in open session. The committee will meet again in open session on Friday, May 29, at 1 p.m. The Finance and Resource Management Committee will meet jointly with the Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Committee in closed session on Monday, June 1, at 1 p.m.
  • The Governance and Administration Committee will meet in open session on Wednesday, May 27, at 2:30 p.m.
